1. Client-Side Data Processing
Vextrude is designed as a browser-based application. When you use our tools — including the SVG to 3D Converter, 3D Text Generator, Image to SVG, QR Code Generator, Font Converter, Normal Map Generator, and Print Control — all file processing occurs entirely within your web browser.
- Your uploaded files (SVG, images, fonts) are never transmitted to our servers.
- Generated 3D models (STL, OBJ, GLB, PLY, 3MF) are created locally in your browser.
- We do not store, access, or have the ability to view any of your designs or creations.
- When you close or refresh the page, all in-memory data related to your files is discarded.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Newsletter subscription: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. Your email is stored in a secure server-side database and is used solely to send you product updates, new tool announcements, and blog posts.
- Contact form: If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message.
- Community contributions: If you participate in our community page, content you post is stored via Firebase Firestore and is publicly visible.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Local storage: We use your browser’s local storage to save your preferences (such as cookie consent status and tool settings). This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
- Service worker cache: Our service worker caches pages and assets locally on your device to improve loading performance. No personal data is included in cached content.
- Analytics data: We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views, referral sources, browser type, and device type. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to personally identify you.
- IP address: Your IP address may be temporarily logged by our server for rate-limiting purposes on form submissions (such as newsletter signup). These logs are automatically purged after one hour.

Vextrude itself does not set tracking cookies. However, the following third-party services we use may place cookies on your device:
- Google AdSense: Displays advertisements and may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. You can manage your ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com.

- Firebase: Used for authentication on our admin and community features. Firebase may set cookies or use local storage to manage session state.

We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:
